Sirius
The last time Neptune was transiting through Pisces between 1847 and 1862, western astronomers confirmed that the fixed star Sirius was a binary star system. The Dogon tribe of Mali, however, who live in a remote part of Africa, had already known this for at least 400 years. How is that possible?
Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. Many cultures of the world were keenly aware of it, even with the naked eye. The Dogon not only have exceptionally good vision – they apparently have links to ancient Egypt, whose entire belief system was based around Sirius. Discovering that Sirius was binary was exclusive knowledge of the Dogon, however.
Babylonian texts from 1000 to 500 BCE reference a red star rising at the beginning of summer. Red-coated dogs were sacrificed each year just before the Sun rose in early July. This is because Sirius, also known as Dog Star, is located in the constellation known as Canis Major. This was a major discovery because as it is observed now, Sirius is bluish-white in color.
The Dogon seemed to know that Sirius had a smaller, invisible companion of extreme density (Sirius B) that appeared every 50 years. This is when a dark twin orbits the bright star Sirius A. Sirius B was identified by western astronomers in the 1920s as a “white dwarf” that collapses in on itself.
According to the Dogon oral traditions, a race of people from the Sirius star system landed on Earth thousands of years ago in an ark that descended with a spinning engine. These amphibious beings called themselves the Nommos. They were the ones who told the Dogon about the dual nature of this star system.
The ancient Egyptians believed that the Sun conjunct Sirius alchemically activates a star gate – opening a portal to other dimensions. For the Egyptians, Sirius was the key to immortality. Their temples were all strategically aligned with Sirius for this purpose. As Sirius emerges just after the summer solstice, think for a moment of another civilization that celebrates this star’s heliacal rise.
A handful of the founding fathers of the United States were Freemasons. George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, for example. The Freemasons were originally a fraternal organization of stonemasons, like a tradesman’s guild. This is why the square and the compass are the symbols still used today. It’s my understanding that women are still not allowed to join.
Some would call the Freemasons a cult. This isn’t a group of guys talking shop and drinking beer. This is an elite organization that also studies astronomy and the Occult. Their discussions are shrouded in secrecy, very much like a sacred order.
The pyramid with the eye looking out on the dollar bill is replicating the Egyptian eye of Horus, or what the Freemasons called “the all-seeing eye of God”. Horus sacrificed his eye to resurrect his father Osiris. The U.S. dollar’s disembodied eye in the beams of the Sun is at the center, with the words (translated from Latin): “providence has favored our undertakings” above, and “new world order” below.
Signing the Declaration of Independence on July 4th was absolutely intentional. The Sun and Sirius are conjunct every year on that day at 13 degrees of Cancer.
Was the intention just to mimic a powerful civilization like ancient Egypt? 3000 years is solid as far as civilizations go. It would make sense to create a system of government modeled after powerful ancient hegemony, since many have done so throughout history. Even though the pledge of allegiance declares “one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all”, it isn’t as though the U.S. government upholds those principles. So what was the real goal in aligning with Sirius?
